Counseling Rates, Insurance, and Payment
Rates (effective 08/01/22):
Intake/Comprehensive Clinical Assessment: $150
Individual therapy 60 min: $110
Couple or Family therapy 60 min: $135
Group therapy: $50 per session ($40/session if paid monthly)
Intake for group therapy only: $75 (Clinical Assessment from referring Psychiatrist or Therapist must presented at intake)
No show/late cancel: $40
Sliding Fee Rates:
I am happy to offer a sliding scale fee for individuals and families who are uninsured or may have difficulty affording the cost of therapy. Fees will be based on eligibility determined through the application process. Fees range from 25-40% off full session prices based on family size and financial need.
Insurance:
I NO LONGER accept Medicaid. I do not file private insurance, but will provide the documentation necessary for you to file for reimbursement as an out-of-network provider with your carrier. I am also happy to help you complete the required forms to file for reimbursement if needed. Most major insurance carriers reimburse 60%-90% of the full cost of your visit and will cover a minimum number of sessions without a referral or pre-authorization. Please check with your insurance provider about your specific coverage and reimbursement rates.
Other services: I charge a $60/hour fee for additional services such as documentation for court, school,..., phone calls over 15 minutes, and requested research. This fee is not billable to insurance.
Payment:
I accept cash or checks.
Cancellation policy:
If you do not attend your scheduled appointment or have not provided at least 24 hours notice of cancellation, you will be required to pay a $40 fee before your next scheduled appointment. If you miss more than 3 sessions, you may be terminated and provided a list of referral for other providers. You will need to pay your late fee before you can schedule your next appointment.
